Are your kids ready for some big fun?

That’s just what they’ll do at Crocodile Dock, where fearless kids shine God’s light! Crocodile Dock is filled with incredible Bible-learning that kids see, hear, touch, and even taste! Bible Point crafts, team-building games, cool Bible songs, and tasty treats.

Small Groups

Small groups at River Valley Church are places where you can connect with people who share your interests, people who are at a similar stage in life or people who have expertise in an area where you would like coaching. There is a wide variety of groups offered. Some groups focus on friendship with a shared activity interest as a rallying point. Other groups focus on specific areas of study and provide coaching in important life skills.

Each month RVC'rs gather together for semi-organized projects designed to surprise our community with simple acts of kindness with no strings attached in order to demonstrate God's love in a practical way.

If you are a recent guest, we would like to invite you to a luncheon in your honor on Sunday, June 7th immediately following the 10:45 service. This monthly event includes a catered lunch, an opportunity for you to meet our staff and other RVC’ers, as well as a time for you to ask any questions you may have. If you would like to attend, please indicate on your Welcome Card or call 747-4837.

If you would like to consider formal RVC membership, plan to attend our next Membership Workshop immediately following the 10:45 service. This three hour workshop will include a catered lunch, an in depth look into the history, values, and doctrinal beliefs of RVC, as well as our church government structure. If you would like to attend, please RSVP to 747-4837, indicate on your Welcome Card, or sign-up in the foyer.

Ladies, if any of you live in South Shreveport or are looking for a ladies group that meets during the day, look no further. Julie Mills is leading the “Desperate Housewives” group for ladies who are desperate for more of God. This group meets every other Tuesday morning at 10:00 at the Mills’ home in Grand Cane. This will be a time of worship, Bible study, and fellowship. If you are interested, please contact the church office at 747-4837.

smallgroups150 Our spring semester of small groups is underway! If you did not get a chance to sign-up for a group, check out the listings on the website and contact the leader. Remember, it is not too late to start a group!

Our Wednesday night Catalyst groups meet at 6:30 every Wednesday night. Please feel free to join us anytime. We begin in a large group in the auditorium and then break off into small groups for in depth study and discussion. Child care is provided.

Child care for Sunday and Wednesday evening small groups is provided at no charge to your family. As a convenience for you, we do offer pizza and drink for dinner for your children. We ask that each family desiring for their children to eat pizza pay $5 per family to help cover the expense of the pizza. Other snacks are provided at no charge. When you check in your children, please let the check-in team member know if you would like your children to have dinner.

Are you an early bird that enjoys serving behind the scenes? We have a few open spots on our Sunday morning Breakfast Team. This is a great opportunity to build relationships with other RVC’ers as well as make lots of people smile. No cooking experience needed. Please indicate on your Welcome Card of you are interested.
